Hi,

Firstly I would like to say thanks for the great reviews on all the different monitors that have been reviewed that ultimately helped me make my final choice.

(Sorry for brown nosing :p )

I didn’t feel the need to make a thread on which monitor I should choose as there are so many different threads asking this, so here is the choice I made and I have to say I am VERY pleased with it.

Here she is

Sorry i forgot to mention the make , its a NEC LCD20WGX2 20"

Just been playin CS:S, takes a bit of getting used to now the crosshair is a lot bigger

Ah cool, It looks very nice. I almost bought a nec 20" but the Dell's were a lot cheaper hehe. The crosshair in CSS shouldn't be any bigger than before, unless you are running it at the wrong resolution - make sure you select "16:10" on the aspect ratio bit and choose 1680x1050.

Also if you go in to the CSS console and type cl_crosshairscale <any number - I use 3000> it will make the crosshair a lot smaller ;)

Cheers fobose i didnt know that, its well small now

Sorry, should have removed my bb gun its not supposed to be the focal point, its only use is to deter my brother from annoying me and it works well :p .

lol my desk always has random stuff on it, im just not a tidy person

That's a well nice set up you have there fobose, i'll go for a tidy pic next time.

Thanks, I want a new monitor stand though! (a dual one that is) The good thing about using this stand rather than the ones it comes with is as its so heavy if you accidently knock in to the desk the monitors dont go flying!
