ok guys... ive got a hyundai n91w 19" widescreen here, but last night it got knocked over (long story) and now has a drak blob and a light blob on the screen...

its not that much of a deal, but its enough to bug me, so my brain says i need to pointlessly spend money...

therefore, im looking for a new screen... i like the dell 2007, but its quite expensive. is there much point in justifying that expense, or is there anything good around the same size or a bit bigger than what i have??

thanks

When you say the dell 2007, do you mean the 2007FP or WFP (do you want widescreen again or not?) as the 2007WFP can be had for £275 including delivery, there is also a cheaper version "E207WFP" which can be had for £232.24, the differences are that the 2007WFP has a S-IPS panel (and I think in some cases a S-PVA panel), it also has the extra inputs such as composite and svideo. The E207WFP has a TN panel - I think your existing monitor uses the same panel so if your happy with that and you dont want to pay the extra £40 odd quid then the E207WFP would probably suit you.

There is another 20" WS which is quite highly recommended on here and thats the NEC LCD20WGX2, however its quite a bit more than the Dell.

You can get some very well priced 22" models such as the Belinea 2225S1W (for £223.24 inc vat from OcUK) but it lacks on inputs with only 1 VGA input.
