New Monitor

Hello,
I have a budget of £150 and I'm looking for a decent monitor.

I want it for gaming and University work, so a 23"+ would be good, definitely 1080p, like it to be LED and have thin bezels.

Any recommendations guys, preferably based on personal experience?
I'm a student after all, not gonna get money like this again for a while

Is the IPS really that important when gaming?

I just want a large, crisp screen, good whites and blacks.

Also does that ips231 have hdcp (play my ps3 on there)

I decided after on the IPS231P, I couldn't find a decent monitor for the price that would allow me not to juggle.

Attaching the PS3 was just an extra, I got my 32" TV on my desk, its 1080i but I've only got like 3 games that take >720p.

Monitor should be here tomorrow, I feel like a kid
