currently using a very aged (6 odd years old) ACER 22 (model to come later) 16:10 to show it age it doesnt even come with DVI , looking to upgrade this bad boy but on a budget maybe up to max of £175

would have liked to keep 16:10 but they only seem to be done by dell so 16:9 only other real choice.

looking for 24" maybe 27"

main uses will be Gaming but also TV/Movies with others.

Any recommendations on monitor, I did read the FAQ but still confused.

For gaming you want to consider a lower Response time (2ms for example) and a monitor that features 120hz, which would also make things nice and smooth.

all nice but on a tight budget the 23" Samsung be nice but at £200 it is a lot for a monitor and I wont be buying straight away it be more likely around end of June.
