new monitor

See if you can find a Dell U2312HM, I have that and it's great for doing various things. The colours are accurate which is great if doing some light photoshop work etc.

Get this, has near zero input lag, great picture quality and very good for gaming.Probably the best monitor for that price range in my view.

Haha that's a nice monitor anyway still, let us know how it is.:p

Overclock your cpu too!:)

Well it came today , its very crisp and clear and looks very nice actually ...although a little bright lol

as to the CPU overclocking..........I dont know how to do that ...I feel i should know really...but i dont lol

Yeah brightness on most monitors these days is usually set too high on arrival, generally the lower you have it the more longer it will last and most panels will be fine around a quarter amount of the max achieveable or a bit more.(your eyes will adjust to it pretty fast and my BenQ is on 36 yet my HP LP2745w only needed 17)

It's pretty straight forward to overclock, you should ask in the oc section http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=7 mention board/cooler/ram you use too.....your chip should do 4.5ghz-5ghz or so hopefully with a decent cooler.Noticed you have a decent cooler, should hit 4.5ghz or more then. :p
