New monitor

Well peeps it is time for anew monitor. what has sparked my interest is this as its on special.

Dell UltraSharp U2913WM 29" Super-Widescreen LED Monitor - Midnight Grey

Now the game si mostly play are world of warcraft /starcraft 2/ the normal bf3 and steam games..

My spec is the following

I can run in my main rig either a 2600k or a i7 3570
16gb ram
asus gtx680 top 2gb version.
various ssds
ect ect.

Now my present monitor is a cheapy 27 inch a hans-g one.
res of 1920 x1200 I can run all game sat ultra atm.

My question is this I understand the new monitor has input lag ? this sounds worrying
dead pixel policy?

will my system handke the extra pixels it wil need to push.

im hoping to purchase the monitor tomorrow while its at the special price.

Doesn't matter now as finances dictate that il now have to wait until next month.

Every monitor you buy be it a £100 or £1000 one will have input lag, the one you have been useing proabaly has bigger input lag then the dell.

The dell is measures at a respectable 17 ms in game mode.

I'd like to see them review the other panels too using the same methodology.

P.S your system will push those pixels on most games using high settings, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I was kinda hoping my system would be able to push the pixels.

I still cannot make my mind up which 29 superwide to get. also this will eb th emost exspensive monitor I have bought so I would also fret once I have ordered about dead pixels.
