I'm thinking about upgrading my monitor as I've got a new build arriving from here shortly. I've gone with a RX480 card but I still can't make up my mind what to do.
Should I go for a Freesync monitor? Or should I go for just a decent monitor that isn't specialised in Freesync in case I want to get a Nvidia card? I've been quite tempted to maybe get a 1070 card early next year instead.
I'm looking to get either a 24 or 27'' monitor as I can't have much bigger due to space limits.
And what is important to look at when getting a monitor? The monitor I got now is a 6 year old Illyama monitor, so been a while since I looked to get a monitor
