Does anyone know if this is a good monitor been looking at 1440p for awhile now

Yes, but , one can run that Monitor @1440!

I have a 1080 monitor and I run it @2560 x1440 .

My Daughter's monitor is a 1080 and she runs it @2560x1440 , and as I said I have one also @2560x1440 , I changed them via the Nvidia control panel

, I have also done the same with FreeSync too .

Lol, your monitor is still a 1080p native res monitor. It isn't running at 1440p resolution. You haven't tricked the system or found a loophole to get more pixels. You do understand that I hope?

Yes, I'm not doubting his claim, but I'm not sure he understands the difference between this and native 1440p lol! I could set my 4K monitor to 8K resolution... doesn't mean I now have the equivalent to an 8K display.
