new monitor

I have been looking at a new monitor and willing to pay around £1,300.00p and would like to know peoples thoughts on what might be best, the ones that i have found of interest but this is more to do with the sizes than the actual model are LG 38WN95C-W Size 38" , AOC AGON AG493UCX2 - 49 Inch Dual QHD Curved, i like the idea of ultrawide monitors don't care much about 27"size and would probably look for a 32" or bigger instead, I play flight and race sims i also like coop games much less like pvp games, So maybe ultrawide 38" or 49" might be more appealing to me. 49"ultrawide in Microsoft flight simulator looks great but i don't want to pick a monitor based on one game and maybe it would be over kill and a 38" ultrawide would be the better balance for most of my gaming.
system is - Ryzen5 2600 / GTX 1080ti

Your 1080ti will struggle at the 38" and 49" resolutions (especially in MSFS!) - what size/resolution is your current monitor?

A 34" ultrawide will give you better performance due to the lower resolution, which means the AW3423DW (or freesync version) are well within budget

I have a LG 32GK8550G not a bad monitor passing it on to my son as he plays a lot of pvp , I don't run maxed out setting and haven't checked the fps but i was considering upgrading the GPU next year.
