Hi all.

My boss is letting me upgrade my work monitors.

I know quite a bit about monitors but wanted to see what people think are the best value monitors in terms of size and performance, within my budget.

The budget i have is up-to £120 potentially can go slightly above.

So 2 monitors for £240

I will be using them for general office work; programming and some photoshop.

Simply put, your budget is very low. Don't expect anything spectacular. You're pretty much looking at the bottom of the barrel. Most people here don't have experience on that end of the spectrum, that's why there are no comments.

In any case, as it's for non-gaming, I would strongly recommend IPS/VA/PLS monitors. And with flicker-free backlight, if possible. Just go to one of these:

And go through the models still fitting your budget. As for which one is good, your guess is as good as mine. Well, there is the Customer reviews -tab with their star ratings, which might become handy. Though most monitors don't have any reviews...

If you can stretch the budget a bit, then 27" might also be good:

Just remember, check the specs for Panel type: IPS/VA/PLS
Avoid TN panels!

On a quick glance, the LG 24MP55HQ-P (£125) seems like a decent option.

If you can stretch the budget to £180, then I would suggest the BenQ GW2760HS (though out of stock atm).

I agree budget is small, I'm used to builds for myself or friends where money isn't the main concern but unfortunately that wasn't the case for these :D.

Found a nice deal online similar spec to the one you posted.

Thanks for the help.
