New MOT testing ..

Anyone heard about this new MOT test where the tester has to take photos of the vehicle being tested. Seems they need a photo of the car at the MOT station with number clearly visible.

I am not a tester, but surely this will be headache for the tester..

there are illegal cheates who give a certificate without the vehicle even being there

I get the reason ...I just assumed it will slow down a garages number of MOT tested in the day. Taking photo, uploading etc. As I said I am not a tester, just an outsider looking in.

However I get that people are using tech such as tablets that will not add time to their testing.
