New motherboard advice

Hi, well i'm going to RMA my Asus P5N-ESLi as its faulty and then sell it when I get it back.

Now I dont ever want a P5N-ESLi again, it seems to have its fair share of problems and I would prefer something thats a better overclocker than this, has more features too, i'm looking at around 60-80 quid for a new motherboard.

I am confused as to if this mobo is faulty or not now.

I am overclocked ot 3.2ghz right, now if I go into Windows XP, run orthos, its most likely to give me errors, same at 3ghz, if I open Core Temp in XP, I will instantly reset but no monitor will come on, and its fine at stock, but when I do the same stuff in Vista, its stable and dont reset uppon opening Core Temp, so I am totally baffled now
