New Motherboard, CPU & Memory.

Yeah, I think it'll have to be a case (no pun) of using 6 rather than 7 of the stand-offs. The 6 holes all line up with the other stand-offs perfectly, it's just the 7th that isn't right.

Same board here and this made me step back and ask here when I did my build. Just be careful when pushing on the connectors on the right as there is no standoffs on that side to support the force.

I'm thinking of dropping the stock cpu cooler in because the hole in the back of the case is literally 2 or 3 mm too small. I had this problem before when I first installed the NH-D15 on to my old board. I'm really worried that I'll bugger this new board up if I try and do something like angle in a screw driver to make the hole a little bigger. If it slips and scratches the board.....

Case is a Coolermaster HAFX.

Trying to connect the ATX 12v power connector is proving very, very difficult. Never known one so tricky.

If there's 2 ATX slots (total of 8 connections), do I need to connect both of them?

Is it possible that the ATX power connectors from my PSU won't fit a new motherboard?

Out of curiosity, I thought I'd add the DH-15 fans in another time, and to my surprise the temps have been still really low. To be fair, I've only tested it on a brief run of Doom (2016), along with general desktop use / watching YouTube videos.
