I got a Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5 which should arrive to me in the morning and i checked on it's CPU support list that it only supports the AMD Phenom II 1055T CPU on the F3J Bios on upwards.... But I'm not sure what bios it will have when it get's here.

It says on gigabyte that the F3J is a
1. Beta BIOS
2. Update CPU AGESA code

And I'm gueesing because it says it's beta that the chance it woulden't be on there?

Dont take this the wrong way,

"Guess you will find out in 14hrs time."

But also what may happen is the cpu will boot fine, but could just say unrecognized in the bios screen until its updated

Well thats just the thing.

Just need to boot long enough to flash the bios, but really hopeing that it will boot fine if it comes shipped with the F2 bios version

Also you don't know how "new" that motherboard is? could be fresh of the line and have a recent bios on it.

And that's what im really hopeing for lol. If it doesnt, it would seem that i would have to pinch an old AM3 cpu off a relative just to flash a bios :/

2010/10/15 was the release date of that bios, I think your safe bruv!!! go get some coffee and relax.

XD will do haha. Going to chillax with a nice ciggarete and think about ( it will not be a waste of time to bolt on that water cooling because your 6 core cpu will boot just fine, no need for the relatives cpu.) Hehe
