Hi Guys
my mate is just about ready to order some new kit as his old pc blow up .anyway this is what hes thinking about buying


Gigabyte GA_965P_S3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC5300 667MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit

intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

it will be all run from a 480 watt PSU. hes not in to overclocking so it will be all run at stock . can anyone see any problems with the above items .i hear that many stories about ram not working on the Gigabyte boards

fwiw, I had one of these gb boards and corsair 2GB listed on their website. build failed. switched to a AW9D Max, and no complaints. I believe the Geil memory has no such problems though. good luck with your build.
