New motherboard - windows validation?

I've ordered a new motherboard, does windows still give that pain with "revalidation"?

I've heard it's now tied to your windows account and as such I should just be able to put in the new mobo and boot without reinstalling, is this true?

Looking forward to redoing all my cable management and having a cleaner build

Last time I tried was at the start of the year and it gave me the validation ********

I thought with that new Windows 10 anniversary it ties to an account now?

when I putin a new board after installing win 10 I just called up the windows activation line and its sorted it

Done this a few times now (keep getting dodgy boards)

i have had it a few times, just put in my old windows key and it re-activates.
