I don't really want to either, due to heat and power consumption.I don't know how to OC. If I did, then what should I clock it to?

I'm probably going to get the FX 8350. Once I install the new motherboard, what do I need to do? That's what I want to know.![]()
I am trying to avoid overclocking as much as possible, so I wouldn't OC it. Does the clock speed really matter in terms of gaming? If you are going down the upgrade route for the FX, get the 8320. It's lots cheaper, offers the same specs apart from a slightly lower clock speed and that's it - you can easily OC it to the 8350 stock speeds anyhow.
Can someone please reply? I need to know which cpu to get to go with this graphics card.I have an MSI Radeon R9 290. My budget is about £150.
