I've wanted one of them since there first came out. I know Fox will have a lot to say in a bad way :P.

I looked at one about a year ago but it was a pre facelift without the 6 speed box and I was pretty poor at the time.

Signed the paperwork on the 21st for it, just waiting for DVLA to swap the plate off my Astra Coupe before I can pick it up.

Cant wait, the quality of it is so much better then anything else i've owned. Also goes pretty well to. My first Diesel.

Being the SE it comes pretty well equiped. Has optional upgraded wheels, mats and 6 disc changer.

Will be needing 2 new tyres shortly so I got the dealer to give me some money off so I could pick my own tyres. There 205/55/WR16. I'm thinking about getting a set of Goodyear F1 GSD3's.

No leather I see, and since when have mats been a "well equiped" extra, lol! Still better than my old banger. Nice car I guess although I'm not as keen as when I first saw the little thing a couple of years back. How much is the golden question along with spec and condition?

I was looking for one with leather or even half leather but there sort a fair bit more.

When I say well equiped I mean the SE model, get a lot of extras over the basic S model. Mats are always optional nower days.

Costing me 11k. Was the cheapest Facelift 320TD SE on autotrader.

Its done 43K, condition wise its pretty mint, few scratchs which the dealer is having buffed out along with the usual stonechips on the front.

Just a case of waiting for DVLA to get there finger out and transfere my plate now.

I have no comment at this time.

Tears on standby when you announce it cost more than you could pickup a tidy facelift E46 for :/

I knew you was going to say about the 4dr. Idealy I wanted a 320CD but my budget wouldnt go far enough.

Looks nice mate. Should be good for high 40s MPG, 55+ on the motorway. With 150bhp (I believe) should be pretty damn quick too. How much did it set you back?

Its got a fair bit of poke.

150bhp, 0 to 60 in 8.4 sec, 136 top speed.

Its pretty good on MPG too I read.

Beats my Astra Coupe 1.6 ive got now :p

It's a damn good engine - best 4 cylinder diesel I've tried at least, found it was suprisingly quick.

Is yours a 5 speed? I tried the 6 speed and to be honest, the gearbox was the only thing which let it down, it just didn't need 6 gears.

It's the 6 speed box yea. I clock up a fair bit of motorway mileage so it should come in handy.

looks nice mate, fairly new too with low mileage. I hope its worth what you paid for it and you enjoy it.

BMW main dealers are selling them from 13k to 14k in the same spec.

Cheapest facelift I found on Autotrader was the one I am getting :)

I wanted a facelift for the newer rear lights, different side skirts. Just look more modern then the pre facelift.

I've seen plenty, but I still think "WTF?" when viewed from the rear, yuk! :p

Cheeky :p I think its pretty nice, coming from a 2dr coupe I will be glad to have the hatch back.

Another thing I noticed was the reserve gear. Totally different to any other car I have drove. I have had 2 Vauxhalls, 2 Renaults and a Fiat (Never again LOL).

Thanks for the comments, cheered me up after parting with a lot of hard earned cash.

I nearly put a brand new 320Cd through a wall becuase of this. Twice.

If I remember rightly I just pushed the gear stick down a bit then it would move over to reserve. It's something ill have to read the book for :o

Nice colour but if i was spending that much on a BMW i would have gone with a 320 or older 330D if possible, never been a fan of the Compact's but if you like it thats all that counts :)

A 4dr was totally out of the question. It was between the coupe and compact.

Insurance choose for me in the end.. My insurer wouldn't touch me on a 318Ci but would on any model of compact, even a 325Ti and I have the soft spot for it. Wanted one for a long time now.

Eh?

How old are you? Surely if I can insure a 330i you can given you are presumably older than me?

20, 4 years ncb (NU made a balls up a few years ago with my passplus;))

I dont have the best of postcode's for insurance :(

I'm happy with it. Rang up the dealership today, its been machine polished. Waiting for the papework to come thu for my privlate plate and it will be ready to collect.

Cant wait :o

Picked the car up Thursday afternoon. I'm impressed :D

Had the wheels off today to clean them up, going to give it a good polish today/tomorrow.
