Getting a bit bored with my BMW 650 GS, which I have had for 2 years now which is a record for me

Anyway I fancy something a bit quicker but still reasonably comfy for everyday commuting.

Used to have a CBR600FS which I loved so have been looking at similar bikes, looking to spend around £2.5k for a 2000 model.

Found these 3 so far at a local shop :cool:

Well I got a '99 CBR 600 F-X in the end.

Picked her up tonight after work and had to go for a quick blast, great fun handles like a dream and very very fast compared to my BMW :D

She looks just like this one but it is fitted with a black screen & Micron race can & screams very loud:

Does the micron can have a removeable baffle? I put my Micron can back on at the weekend and decided to try it without the baffle. OMG! it sounded fantastic. Problem is I'd get pulled even feathering the throttle near a Police car so it just remained a garage experiment. It will be coming out when I take it over the TT next year though :)

No removable baffle but it did have NOT FOR ROAD USE stamped on it but that seems to have disapeared ;)
