Currently have a Razer Deathadder that double clicks on single click and so I'm looking to get a new mouse (unless someone knows how to fix this? I've already tried updating the driver and firmware as well as opening it up and cleaning it out).

Anyway, I've been looking at the Logitech G5 and G9, but I'm not too keen on the way they look and the side-to-side scroll wheels annoy me.

Also looked at the Razer Lachesis as it initially looks like an upgrade to the Deathadder, but I've heard its not as comfortable (I'm right handed).

Then I thought I'd just settle for another Deathadder, as they're reasonably priced now. But, as it's been out a while now, is it still a good mouse to get? I can't seem to find anything newer other than the Mamba, but that's too expensive :P

Had the same problem a couple of months back. Tried out a few before buying another Deathadder. Creature of habit me-thinks!

The lauchesis is not the best, some like it some dont. 2 of the 9 buttons cant be used unless you have mutant shaped hands (think its for lefties).

Razer have a pretty good RMA process and 2 year guarantee, i just returned my 1.5year old lauchesis as one of the buttons stopped working.

I didn't get mine from the Razer website, could I still get it replaced through them?
