Hi there,

Ive been using a Razor Diamondback now for about 1 and half years and it's been pretty decent. Lately however, it's been giving me some serious tracking problems and is pretty much worn out.

Obviously then, I am in need of a new Mouse and Mousepad. I've got an eye on the Intellimouse 3.0 but i'd like to know what people make of it first.

As for the mousepad, im really not sure. I bought an everglide pad a while back and found it to be utter ***** to say the least.

Ive got about £50 max to spend so fire away with some suggestions/reccomendations.

Thankyou.

Hi, I was wondering if someone could reply to this thread as i am also in need of a new mouse.

Thanks

Barros

I have the Logitech MX518 which is a pretty good mouse for gaming and general use. My mousepad that I've had for a year or so is the X TAC Pro HS that's reasonable provided I clean it occasionally with Mr Sheen.

Wired or wireless?

I've just got myself a g7, and it's fantastic, very very smooth and accurate. The only negative is that i think it could do with another couple of buttons for increased functionality. I don't think i'll ever use a wired mouse again.

Wireless you probably wont do well in your budget.

Wired: G5 and 518 are excellent choices. G5 is currently in stock too but it doesnt leave too much room for a decent mousemat, you'd be around 60 with a decent mat and delivery. So you may want to wait for the 518 to be in stock, you cannot go wrong with either of these.

Mousemat is a bit more personal, they're all good to be honest, you just need to choose one that is the right size and the style you want.

FFS here we go again, seriously guys use the search button on the forums there are countless of these threads! and mice are personal preference there is no this is the best mouse etc etc, it's all what suits you same as for mouse pads!

If i have to say a mouse i'd probably say that the most common answer you will receive is the mx518 but this doesn't mean it's the best mouse!

As for mouse mats it depends if you play high sensitivity or low sensitivity?
