I want to get a new mouse for use with photo editing so would like it be as accurate and responsive as possible.
Reading around I guess something like the Microsoft Habu or Razor Copperhead would be the best bet?
I also like the new Microsoft Laser 8000 purely on design.
Any experience of these three products and thoughts on which would suit me the best?

Not bothered about extra buttons, but I like the newer scroll wheels on some mice that do not 'click' as you scroll.

You really want a wacom intuos :)

As to mouse its a case of picking one you like to use, accuracy is all about how comfortable the mouse is to use. I personally use a natural wireless laser mouse 6000, and I've tried mx1000, ms explorer mice and to be honest the ms ones seem superior to logitech in my view.

second lsg1r - you want a tablet, they can be got for around the same price as a decent mouse :)

Pop into your local PC shop and try a few mice as that is the only way to know for sure, what suits me might not suit you and vice versa. As mentioned though a graphics tablet and pen is probably the best solution if you will be taking photo-editing seriously.

Thank you for the feedback and comments. Appreciate the point about the feel of the mouse but I was just trying to get a feel of where to start.
I have looked at a Tablet but the Intuos are serious money. Would the cheaper models, such as the Graphire or Volito tablets still be better than a good mouse though?

the smaller wacom are generally very good (I'd say look at the bamboo models) but are generally slightly lower resolution to the intuos.

Thanks.
I saw the Bamboo on their website but was unsure as to what it was designed for. The mini site seemed to be a bit 'arty' but not say much about the usage of it.
I am not going to be doing heavy editing. really want something more controllable than basic mouse for doing masking and a bit of cloning and general tidying of my images.

Size wise, is an A5 tablet more than enough for most uses? They just look so small!
