New Mouse & Keyboard from Logitech

Logitech have released info and pics of their new G-Range of keyboards and mice.

Not sure about the look of the mouse, but the keyboard looks swish. Just not sure about the red led, would look better blue again i think. But makes a change i suppose.

The mouse looks like a great idea if they manage to pull it off, just imagine the issue if the cover wobbled or 'creaked' under your hand.

If they pull it off mind it may be worth a look, gotta try one out before buying one I think.

Thanks for the heads up. Not a fan of the mouse, I'd prefer a wireless mouse personally - what happened to the G7? I think they've gone a little too far with the customizable options as well. Adjustable weights was one thing, but now inter-changeable shells - it's just a gimmick and offers too much choice. Overall, I much prefer the curved look of the previous G5 and G7 mice.

The revised keyboard looks much more promising. I wasn't a huge fan of the original G15, I thought it looked too 'geekish' and wasn't sleek enough. The new one looks to be a big improvement, a much neater affair altogether.

I don't like fancy keyboards at all. I'm using a Logitech Media Elite and it does the job perfectly.

I'm a G7 owner, and it pains me to let you all know.. Wireless mice > Wired. :rolleyes:

wired forever tbh, they keyboard looks nice, but that mouse just looks like someone left a bit of rock on the desk, its gigantic!

As a G7 owner myself, I'm definitely with you there. I love the swappable battery packs, they're so useful and yet I haven't seen any similar design since, which leaves me scared to think what I will replace my G7 with when it finally dies (since they no longer produce it

I also have a G15 keyboard and I have to say the new one looks nothing short of stunning!

It's a real shame they've discontinued the G7. It's a great mouse and I was looking to get another for a recent build - shame they haven't replaced it!

why was the g7 discontinued?

i don't like that keyboard, don't like the orange backlight and the screen looks tiny compared to old one. they could have made a colour screen version instead

Personally I choose (as an fps gamer) the MX518 ... with a steelpad S&S of course

i cant seem to live with a wired mouse at all and due to my desktop combo not being up to gaming (can only press 3 keys or 2 keys and a mouse button at once) ive been using a zboard fang for gaming but i have these coming for tomorrow
