Mouse I use is DeathAdder Respawn

My previous pads

QPad CT & Steel Series 4S

Cheers ;)

I use some S&S steel series, its a large plastic with dribbles of glue on the back to grip the desk.

Massive, could put my keyboard on that as well?

yep. its what most people do with it

i'll see if i can dig out a picture

*edit*

sadly, this is where my knowledge ends. i'm sure stulid will know though. i think the only thing he's been stumped by recently is a recommendation on a graphics tablet

Cheers definatly looks nice, would it be overkill to have a mouse pad on top of this to stop it slipping?

can you be more specific about what you're looking for? what are your priorities - fast surface? slower type 'control' surface? soft cushioning? hard pad? No best really, just personal preference.

I've used many pads including the CT.

you could do what stulid did and dribble a little glue on the back, or use some double sided tape if you find it slips. however, with that much surface touching the desk and making friction, i doubt it will.

Hello Icm76

Not in the know when it comes to Mouse Pads, been well happy with my QPad over the years. What do you use now ?

My preference is for soft cushioned cloth pads (I rest my wrists on the desk) so I mainly use a couple of Razer Mantis Control - I've had these for years, they're now sold as the Goliathus, but they are hugely different than the CT. I find them extremely comfortable which is why I keep going back to them.

CT surface is firm and quick, but I find it too sweaty, somewhat noisy, and braided mouse cables catch too much on the edge. Roccat's Tatio and Mionix Alioth are fast surfaces (not as fast as the CT) but good good tracking and have more of the comfort benefits of cloth pads. QCK+ is also another good, reasonably fast cloth that is more comfortable than either of the Alioth/Taito, but QCK+ the feel will be more different than the CT you're used to. EDIT: Zowie GT-F is also supposed to be good fast surface.

The alternative is to go the other way i.e. a hard pad with a foam/rubber backing. That way you get the very fast (faster than CT) surface, but with at least a little wrist comfort. Check out the Ozone Gaming Exposure and Mionix Propus.

Most of the Razer and Steelseries is decent and worth considering, but just remember that all of these gaming mousepads are ludicrously expensive for what they are, and it all comes down to personal preference.
