New mouse purchase is it worth it?

Hi all

i currently have a logitech MX1000 which i have absolutely loved for the past few years but the connectors are starting to wear and it doesnt seem to hold a charge like it used to.

the mouse i would like to replace it with is the Logitech G7

i understand they are no longer on sale so it looks like i would be purhcasing from an auction site.

is the G7 a good mouse? i dont want it to feel like a step backwards after my MX1000

If you're sure you want a wireless mouse then the G7 is probably your best bet, I have one and I think it is great.

Good luck finding it for sale anywhere though, they have been discontinued.

We've got 3 and love them :cool:

One Dad bought in the US when they first came out, then I liked it so got one off OcUK.
Then the second gaming PC needed a new mouse (and dad liked using his G7 for office use) so last month we got a BNIB G7 (Carbon/Blue) off 'that auction site' - payed more for it than the previous two, but love them
