Hello,
I'm looking to buy a new mouse and after a few hours looking at prices, reviews and shapes I think that R.A.T. 7 would be "the chosen one". I also found people who complain about the twin eye sensor of it, but those posts were made a few months ago so I'm thinking that Saitek might have fixed that issue.
Can someone say if that is true or false?
Oh and any recommendations are welcome:D, cos I haven't placed the order yet.

If you are a fingertip or claw gripper then nothing beats the logitech G9x, otherwise a G500/MX518 would be your best bet.

Thx everyone for sugestions.
So I took RAT7 for 7 days "test drive". Could you guys recommend a good mouse mat for it?( i prefer the hard mats btw)

I'm currently using the RAT7, have been for about 3 months now, and loving it, I spent about an hour originally fiddling with it to get the set up right for me, and it's absolutely brilliant :)

I've got a mate who has a Razer Mamba, and actually I think using his, the RAT7 seems more solid, however that might be more because I've got all the weights in it rather than anything else...

I did get mine second hand so I could get a better price, and I've seen a small issue with the thumb rest slipping if I put too much pressure on it whilst trying to use the reduce DPI button. However this is very occasional.

At the moment I'm using it on the Steelseries 4hd gaming surface... Don't think OCUk stock it, but it works quite well together and it is a hard mat.
