I'll keep this short.

Had a RAZER Mamba for a while now and I've never been overly pleased about it. It's not that comfortable and the battery is abismal. Also I've had to have it connected to the cable for a lot of its use. Now the things died for no reason I was thinking its time to get a new mouse.

Been looking at the Saitek RAT 9, but unsure whether the wireless is worth the extra price tag over the RAT 7..

I use the mouse a lot for browseing and the few games such as FPS's.

Any other suggestions would be welcome.

You cannot beat an MX518 for performance, price, reliability & after sales care.

I am currently using a Logitech mx1100 but it has difficulty in some games when I require precise accuracy, in such it seems to jerk around a small square shaped area in the center of the screen.

The Mamba has now decided to work but isn't able to track along any surface yet the buttons work fine, and wireless does not work at all.

As for an MX518, I used to have one but it wasn't as comfortable as the MX1100 I've been using.
I do like the look of the Performance MX but its just like the MX1100 I'm using with the added ability to use on surfaces I don't use a mouse on.

I had a mamba and it broke, scroll wheel wont scroll most of the time, got an mx518 and not impresed with it over the feel of the mamba, wheel dosn't feel as good, granted it works lol, was also looking at getting the Rat 7 as the adjustability seems prety good and the mx518 causes my palm to ache

The RAT 7 does look nice yes, but I don't think I would use the extra 'adjustments' enough to justify the cost over say the RAT 5. I do however despise cables to my mouse as its annoying when they catch, I do prefer wireless.

I've also looked at the G700, and most review say it suffers from the same issues I seem to be getting with the Mx1100, in that it isn't that good for precise movements which I tend to like when sniping in fpsers. Hmm will hopefully decide by monday and order.

Do wired why people do wireless im unsure but almost all PCs are as close as a wired PC are anyway. Just do wired unless you love changing cables and love changing batteries. Why do you need it wireless? Im assuming thats the point?

I like wireless because I hate when cables snag, The mouse will be moving lots and sometimes quickly. Im looking for something as comfortable as the Mx1100 and possibility of wireless. the G700 comes close to this, but with all the added keys that may just get in the way. The x8 looks nice but im not sure how comfortable it is.
