New mouse

My old MX1000 is playing up a bit, it is getting increasingly unresponsive, especially on my black ICEMAT where it used to work fine. Could the laser or transmitter/receiver be on its way out?
What would people recommend as a cordless replacement? I do some gaming and a fair bit of mooching about the net.

You could get it replaced if it's still in warranty.

I dunno, how long is the warranty on Logitech stuff? I've certainly had it for over a year.

Yeah but which one. I want a cordless, I do a fair bit of gaming, mostly WOW and suchlike and a fair bit of general use. I like to use it like a remote control when I'm watching movies and suchlike.

I suppose the G7 would be a good reccomendation. It's probably one of the best wireless gaming mice

It would follow on perfectly from your MX1000, I find it more than comfy for everyday use too

If you like the Logitechs, get the MX518, I swear you'll love it.

Logitech have 3 year warranty IIRC.

For Gaming i use the Logitech G7 , for the internet i use Logitech MX Revolution , well worth the money so i got another one

Yeah I must admit, I liked the look and features for both of them, bit of an expensive option tho. I assume they would both work with the same software/receiver?
