New Mouse

Im looking to get a new mouse, ive currently got a Logitech MX518 gaming grade optical mouse and I'm fed up with the wire restricting my movemet.

Can anyone recommend me a wireless option that will be better then my current one, good for gaming, and work on my Icemat?

The obvious solution would have been the Logitech G7 but it is currently out of production so a couple of options would be to either try the Logitech Revolution but it has a lower DPI and what looks like a chunkier shape or perhaps look for a secondhand G7.

I don't know enough about the Microsoft Intellimouse 8000 to comment really although I've found their corded mice to be very good in the past.
