hey guys I'm thinking about getting a new mouse as the feel of my storm inferno isn't quite right for me as I use a grip that is kind of a cross between a fingertip and claw grip.
I've been trying to see how I would naturally hold a mouse by putting my hand on my mouse mat and my palm sits about 25mm from the mat (at the peak) if that is any help, and my had is about 200mm from the tip of my middle finger to my wrist if that also helps.

If it also helps I could post a pic of how I hold the mouse as it's quite hard to explain

my budget is around £70

Here is how I hold the mouse

sorry about the quality I would've used my d50 but it's too heavy to use in my left hand :p

I did consider the naga, the only thing that I'm not sure I'd like is the buttons

I'm just not really liking the way the mouse curves in the middle though, so I was thinking something more like the naga or lachesis etc

Same grip as me - I'm using a intellimouse explorer 3 without any complaints at all. It's good for those of us with big hands.

+ you'll have £40 left over to spend on something else.

Thats a fairly normal 'claw' position.

I would like to throw in the suggestion of a Razer Naga.

Yeah you already said that :p the only thing putting me off of the naga is the amount of buttons on the side, as I don't play mmos and I only ever using up to five buttons (two main, scroll wheel click and side buttons)

For your budget, you can get some pure quality.

Steelseries XAI.

I do like the look of the xai, especially the orange one that is supposed to come out :p my friend is in a guild with a guy who is sponsored by steelseries and I may be able to get one through him :D

Razer are bringing out new versions of the Imperator and Mamba with dual sensors (both optical and laser) in a couple of weeks, I might give one of those a go.

I hold my xai in a similar way to your hand movement and I can't fault it at all. Be sure to get the Steelseries 9hd with the xai if you get one, or a 4hd :)
