Hello,

My Razer mouse ( Diamongback 3g) has a broken scroll wheel, I want a new mouse, similar spec, at least 5 buttons as I can't go without forward/backward while browsing ans I also use it to crouch/prone in games. Not bothered about optical/laser as long as it works. About similar spec to my mouse prefferably but a good brand, prefer logitech, because at least warranty isn't a massive headache with them ( razer has a crappy warranty which requires proof of purchase plus it's only 2 years, while logi want to help you or give discounts if you have problem after warranty expires).

Any suggestions ?

Looks great spec wise but:

How is warranty on gigabyte, on gfx cards it used to be crap when I had a problem?
It is also a bit tall, I have small hands, I prefer mice which aren't that big, I use my mouse in the way that I want to lean my wrist on my desk, so it can't be to high...

Tempted to go for the gigabyte because it's so cheap, competitors are the mx518, for logi warranty, or the G500 which is significantly more money but also logitech warranty and extra buttons, I love side buttons :).

This is what I would have otherwise bought. :) Iirc Gigabyte RMA's 'should' have quick turn around since one of the depots is based in the U.K. The warranty for this I must admit I didn't even consider.

I was tempted by the Razer Abyss but that has no side buttons.

Got a G500 here, fantastic mouse with very easily accessed side buttons. Got it from logitech for free as a replacement for a broken, out of warranty G5.

I got an MX518, it was on offer and spending 8 euro's more for Logi warranty was worth it over the Gigabyte one imho. So far so good, I like it, I'll see how I get on with it after a month.
