New Mousepad Suggestions

I currently have a SteelSeries 4D mousepad from around 2006.

I've begun to notice recently that it's seriously scratching my mouse-feet which in turn is causing unintended friction.

I'm after something similar to the 4D but ideally without the scratching.

Can anyone suggest any mousepads?

I've been looking at the Corsair MM400 and the MMM Slamepad but don't have any direct experience to draw upon.

The only hard one i've used it the razer destructor and it was nice, but i just prefer soft mats. And for that razer again lol goliathus speed edition is really nice

In the same predicament, and I'm getting the Zowie G-TF Speed.

I like the 4HD but it seems too rough. Zowie G-TF isn't 'smooth' either, but hey. I don't really mind my mouse skates, as they are replaceable and upgradable.

EDIT : Maybe giving that Razer a look. My order is being held due to some out-of-stock items.

Well, I've received my P-TF Speed Medium.

First impressions, feels very similar to the 4HD, same granularity, a bit less harsh but not by much. Needs some flattening out though. Same size, same kind of speed / static friction. Will post when I get more mileage on it.
