NEED FOR SPEED 2017: AN OUTLOOK
Take a look under the hood of Need for Speed. We talk about tuning, offline experiences and about what awaits you in 2017.
Hello everybody!
We wanted to talk briefly about a topic that we know is as close to your heart as us ... the next Need for Speed .
By now, many of you have heard that we are working on a new game at Ghost Games. We are therefore pleased to announce the end of 2017 will be a new Need for Speed game.
We'll give you more details as soon as EA PLAY gets closer in June. Some details about different aspects of Need for Speed and their importance for you, for us as developers and for the Spielereihe altogether, but we can already give.
First of all, we would like to thank you. When we released the reboot in 2015, We were absolutely overwhelmed by how much feedback we received from you. Your passion for Need for Speed was obvious, which is one of the main reasons that we are here today.
Tuning - we love it, you love it, everyone loves it. What could not you love? So you can be sure that tuning has a fixed place in the Need for Speed range. It is preserved and will play an equally important role both in the next game and beyond. What could not you love? So you can be sure that tuning has a fixed place in the Need for Speed range. Okay ... let's talk about the cops. There is nothing more beautiful than to engage in a chase with the police and to feel them on the neck as you race through the city. You have the cops behind you, other drivers in front, and then - as out of now - BUMM! They use a Rhino unit during a road race. Is this to be understood?
No matter whether you try your freshly tuned car or ride the competition in an event in the canyons - you want to move around a world that is not only breathtaking, but also offers you the opportunity to do just that What you want. We bring the action to a new level and let you go on and off the road to heartbreak.
Drifting with a smoldering tire sideways through a curve and giving full throttle to escape the cops with an epic leap. We create the world, but nothing inspires us more than what you do in it.
Finally, let's come to one of the biggest discussion points in the predecessor game: Always-Online. To say that this issue is your heart, would be an understatement. And if there is a topic that attracts so much attention and feedback as this, we deal with it naturally.
So: When the next Need for Speed is released, you can expect a single game experience that you can play completely offline. And to answer the next question: Yes, that means you can pause the game.
Need for Speed looks back on an impressive story, and we at Ghost feel it as an honor and privilege to pass it on. You will soon hear more of us.
A common bright future.
