Hi Guys,
I posted a while back about my dads boss who is getting broadband and wants to share the connection between two buildings about 200 metres apart.
I have come up with what i think will work but i need you guys to check it out and just confirm it for me.
Building 1
- ADSL router - Linksys WAG200G
- D-Link ANT24-0801 directional outdoor aerial
- The router will be mounted in the attic with the aerial mounted outside facing the building with clear line of site. This router will also handle local in house internet connections via a laptop.
Building 2
- Wireless access point - Linksys WAP54G (Does this have a removable attena that i can change?
- D-Link ANT24-0801 directional outdoor aerial
- The access point will be mounted again outside pointed towards the other aerial on the house.
- The Access point will handle network and internet connection for a desktop pc connected via cat5 and a laptop connected wirelessly.
Can you guys just ceck this out and make sure everything is compatible. Any recommendations are welcome.
