I know quite a few others on here quite like the photo insights into North Korea. Loads of new photos just been put up on Boston -

NK seems to be opening up a bit in the last year, especially to China and Russia. It is weird as 99% of the country is 40+ years behind but they get odd new tech in, such as laptops and LCD TVs. They claim to have made them but they are obviously just imported from China. Info from www.northkoreatech.org

Yeah and no electricity or anything. You have to wonder how many of those are empty. I think a lot are in a bad state due to being made from concrete which only lasts for so long.


Some of the mountains and scenery looks great however.

I can't remember the exact details but it was covered in this video I watched on youtube.


From the video, "it's said that there's 64 million empty apartments in China" and "it's the modern equivalent of building pyramids, it doesn't really add to the betterment of peoples lives, all it does is promote GDP growth".

Anyway, North Korea fascinates me, I find pictures 54, 52, 49 and 48 interesting. How a country can be destroyed by a leader(s) when it has everything it needs to be a a successful country.

Because it ****es me off to watch people pretend they give a **** when if the British government said they are going to give a billion to NK or they are going to bring in 100 000 refugees in there would probably be another riot similar to tottenham.

What are you talking about? no one is pretending to care what the British government said? Who said anything about refugees? All this thread about is about a collection of interesting images of North Korea.:confused:

People love images from NK because it's a country who are very secretive and this is a rare glimpse inside it.


I heard a while ago that MC D's might be entering the NK market? Any updates on that?
