Hey guys, so I bought a new notebook from holiday about over week ago. after careful consideration I chose the Asus K56CB and it has 2 years Int warranty do I need to register it right away or later? and is having a notebook cooler a necessity for gaming?

here specs-
i5 3337u(1.8ghz)
4GB 1600mhz DDR3
1 TB 5400 RPM HDD
GT 740M 4GB VRAM DDR3
DVD Supermulti Drive
Windows 8

Is the RAM sufficient and will it be worthwhile if I upgrade that to 8GB?

Thanks

I believe you can register it at any time. they can't expect everyone to register their product straight away!

4gb ram is more than enough for gaming, although with Dell it only costs about £20? to upgrade to 8gb.

Without a cooler, I'm guessing you'd be using it on your lap? Which could potentially block any fans so I'd say a cooler is a must, my sister's old laptop would reach 100c+ on a game like sims! there's a few GOOD coolers out that for around £20 such as the Targus 17" chill matt (Says 17" but it only just fits a 15.6"!)

Targus has a lot more reviews from what I can see, but the Zalman is slightly cheaper. Get what ever one you prefer, there wont be much if any difference between the two
