New numberplates

www.fancyplates.com is great.

I've been meaning to get some new ones as mine have a bloody vauxhall garage address on them :p

I'm and fan on plain ones too, althought I'm tempted by font 1 with no border or anything, just nice and clean :)

Fancyplates will do exactly what you need :)

'Nother vote for Fancyplates here. I've used them a couple of times now, can't fault them :)

I'm a fan of completely plain ones with no extra writing, no borders, no fancy sid e logos, no funny text. Get them made up a tenner a pair at your local motorfactors :)

i've used fancy plates before too, i like plates with the Scottish flag on the side (looks good with the blue side, blue flag etc)

Am i alone in thinking Jersey plates would look good on the front of that car??

Yup. It's what I've got. Nothing on my plates at all except for the actual registration although I seem to recall that fancyplates are somewhat pricey for plain ones like that compared to other places.

Got mine done by one of the stalls at JAE last year.

To save me starting a new thread, can someone please point me to a list of guidelines which new plates have to conform to legally?

My front is warped, cracked and unattached right now, so I know I need new ones but can I get silver/back ones for a 1990 H ?

Yeah - unfortunately your car has to be manufactured before 1973 to legally use white on black number plates

You can't change the spacing or font either. For example, if your number plate is H818 DKX you can't change it to H8 18DK X

For fun ?
I'm no sure if that will go on it, it's the name of my online photo galleries;).

I was meaning whats best in a border/allround point of view, it's not really about the text;)
