when gays were allowed these civil service thingies they pulled all the pics of non gays getting married from the registry offices because it would offend gays, from what many people in the gay communities said they didn't care.

and it's the same for this 'racist' ****, racism would be making fun of the BLACK sheep because he was black, not singing about a black sheep. :confused:

Screw this country and its stupid obsession with PC, i'll teach my kids that its baa baa BLACK/***** sheep...which is what it originally was. Changing it to wooly sheep is stupid imho.

I went to look at a nursery yesterday for my lad, and was shocked to see a poster on the wall that one of the kids had made with 'Baa Baa Black Sheep' written on it.

Naturally, as a fully paid up member of the PCLE I made them take it down, because its racialismistic.

just my thoughts but baa baa black sheep is kids nursery ryhme from what i've seen kids that age dont really think in a rascist way so they don't look at the black sheep and think wow thats rascist to them it is a BLACK sheep with black wool . so its the parents that are taking offense which makes it all the more pathetic in my opinion.

Doesn't "Baa Baa Woolly Sheep, have you any wool...?" teach the child to ask stupid questions then?

"Baa Baa WOOLLY Sheep.....Do you have any WOOL".

Just pointing out the futile way of making all this "PC" - I would have never have thought that Baa Baa Black Sheep made kids racist or anything close.

Write a letter to the head of the nursery and/or the local education board asking why this has happened and express your outrage at not being able to teach your kids traditional rhymes. If you really feel strongly about it, rather than a typical OcUK anti-PC rant, start a local/national campaign to "bring back our nursery rhymes".

Ranting on a message board is not going to change things.

I don't understand sheep have black faces and it fits with the rhyme. Anything else is below average intelligence.

Remember calling someone stupid is not PC.
