I'm probably wrong but I thought it was Nov/Dec time? Try googling "G92" and see if that brings up anymore info. :)

I'd love to see where November came from anyway.

Personally, just thinking about it gives me a headache. Anyone remember when G80 launched? There was some chart going around with prices and specs for the whole 8*** series lineup.

What happened to all of those? Are we not getting a GX2 part? Or a GS/GT part?

Just seems odd to me. I could believe there's not going to be a refresh, just like there wasn't with the 6*** series. But I can't believe they're going to just leave it at GTS/GTX/Ultra.

sounds like the 9800 is going to be a refresh, basically it looks like a 8800gtx on a 65nm process which will give 20-40% faster clocks.

if that is not enough, there are people saying the 9800gtx is going to have more than a bil transistors. If that is the case it will go from 128units to 192units.

so there is potential that this "refresh" can be twice as fast as the 8800gtx in games and benchmarks. so perhaps such a jump in performance deserves its own name instead of a refresh?

Maybe, although i'm not sure why they didn't go for the "8900" name. :)

Don't forget, after the 9*** series, nV need to decide where to take the model name - X800 series anyone? :p

cant reall think what direction the name would take, the 3900ultra sounds a little underpowerd and the 10800gts is a bit long winded lol!
