I've been holding off buying a Nvidia Shield and just saw there is a new version imminent.
New Tegra X1+ CPU adds approx 25% more power
Rumoured release date 28th October

Looks like there is also a cheaper mini compact version coming aswell.

The new non pro Nvidia Shield (tube) won't run emulators like Dolphin as it runs in 32 bit mode.It won't run 64bit apps
