new o2 broadband box

upgraded my o2 broadband, been offered their newer box wth wireless n and usb storage

is it worth upgrading? i have a home server for storage, and dont use wireless n.

are there any other benefits like better port management, speed of admin, energy use etc. to be worth upgrading?

I believe the actual admin pages are pretty much the same, it might be slightly more energy efficient, but realistically it won't make much difference. Wireless N is good for future proofing even if you won't use it now.

Ultimately, it's your cool, if your happy with your current router then stick with it, if not then an upgrade won't hurt.

Ive had one for a while now USB storage is ok but couldnt get it to stream to my xbox360 ,probably a limitation with the console

looks like it would be zero useful to get this upgrade. but it's free, so I'm gonna go ahead and ge *** in case I use the wireless n in future.
