Aye, just saw your contribution thanked on xbox360achievements.org. Looking good and can't wait, though I think I may have forgotten where my character is and how to play.

My thoughts exactly.

It's a quarter of the size of the original game and offers 25 hours of gameplay for £20.40.

Maybe slightly too high but I think it's worth it.

Its bit of an strange amount to be asking. I'd have imagined 2000 or 2100 would have been more sensible as thats what you can get either from MS or a prepaid card. I suppose you can buy 2000 and then 400 from MS to cover the cost, but the prepaid cards work out cheaper.

Aye, that would make more sense.

Though as the PC DVD disk is coming out at £19.99 I guess they wanted to keep it roughly the same. I guess it's slightly higher as MS like their cut for 360 games.

Anyway back to the achvievments...

Honored Madman, Shivering Isles -
Reached Honored Madman Rank in the Court of Madness

This I need to get!

Although you can pick up the PC version for £17.99, so i may purchase it on PC although i never really got all that far in the PC version of Oblivion compared to the 360 version.

But its a game which cost 40 quid, so should only be a tenner, and they don't need to stick it on DVD, and Pirates wont get it.
I think it is too expensive tbh. And that isn't a dig at the xbox, as from the above quote i am assuming its the same price on the PC.
HL episode 1 only cost $20, and i dont see this as being much different from that.

Sorry to hijack thread, but didn't see a point of making a new one. Was thinking about getting this game for either pc or 360. But pc specs are 3000+, 1.5gb ram, 6600gt. What you guys think, better off with 360 vers? thanks ;)

Just rented this and im confused :/ I thought it was an MMORPG?

So far no impressed really, find it quite repetitive and boring, hope it gets better.

It is offline only. I must admit when I first heard of this game I thought its like all this world or warcraft online characters that never die kinda thing. I don't play many rpg games and havent played one of these mmo things so I can only imagine it is like FF7 but single player, with a bit more freedom?

rp2000

edit: Surely this is the most expensive thing released so far on live marketplace in the UK (not criticising, just wondering). I think the most expensive game/add-on apart from this was Luminees Live, which I have bought! (Think it was 1200 points and then another 400 or so in an addon).

What reason would you have to think that?

Just stick with it, it does start off slow, the prison sewers part is pretty boring tbh, but it's just trying to ease you into the game. Once you get out into the world and start doing quests and joining guilds it's excellent.

I would say 6 or 7 hours is a fair amount of time to put into the game before deciding if you like it, much less and you're not really judging the game as it is supposed to be played, though if you don't like it after 7 hours then you probably wont at all.

They will probably justify it by saying it's a fully fledged expansion. If it gives 10-15 hours of play then it's probably worth it, especially considering the length of some of the more recent full price games (GoW, R6:Vegas, GRAW 2).
