anybody had a drive yet..its getting lots of good press

I still need a replacement for my mk1 vRS and the boot on the Astra vxr and Focus ST just dont look up to lugging my fishing gear around..the Astra's boot looks particularly awkward?

It's getting a lot of good press, so much so that I'm going to drive one when I find the time :)

Pistonheads really liked it, which is generally a good sign.

Not unfortunately had a chance to take it out yet though.

Certainly the engine is fantastic, and if, as pistonheads say, the throttle response is better than in the GTi, it must be exceptional.

Looks subtle enough to be a good Q-car too.

It is indeed meant to be something fairly decent, certainly an option if you want the fasthatch performance in a more family styled car.
I believe it's a £3k saving over the same spec Golf GTi (?)

For 17500 you dont even get rear electric windows ! Costs an extra £400 if you want the pack which gives you that.

I got electrric rears in my mk1 I wonder why you have to pay extra for the buggers

sorely tempted by an st220 though....can I stand the mpg though!

got the boot size I need...I like the lines of the saloon more than the hatch though...whats the boot like on the saloon and does it have ski hatch for my fishing rods?
