Hi All,

My 1st post, and sadly its not a good one :(

I recently bought an 850W OCZ Modular PSU (model - OCZZ850M-UN), i have noticed that when playing games or doing any thing that puts the slightest stress on the PC that there is a buzzing sound coming from the PSU. There is no sound what so ever coming from the PSU when the PC is idle, eg surfing the web ect, it mainly seems to happen when gaming.

I have tried different plug sockets but this doesn't seem to help . I have quite a high end system but it shouldn't stress a 850W power supply, im just worried it is going to go bang  and take with it the rest of my PC. The PSU is less than a week old, so any help would be appreciated.

I have a thread open on OCZ forum as well, and they are hinting at a RMA, but i would really prefer not to do that.

My PC Specs are -

Asus P8P67 Pro
Intel i5 2500k (running at 4.2 GHz)
Akasa Venom CPU Cooler
8 Gig DDR3 Kingston Hyper X
Asus GTX 580 Direct CUII
OCZ 850 Watt Modular Power Supply
