Hello,

I'm thinking of getting this monitor for home office use:

Dell UltraSharp 27 Monitor - U2722D

Only needed for work purposes, is this the best option?

Or maybe I go 144Hz and save £145 with the LG 27GP850? Not really sure why I'd buy the Dell to be honest.

any reason why you are not considering 4k? can be had a a lower cost also

i have an older 1440p ultrasharp in 25 guise, but much prefer my newer 3221qs mainly because the extra real estate etc. esp for office and home / spreadsheet / coding / music work I do.

I was under the impression 4k at 27" wasn't that noticeable compared to 1440p. Not sure if 32" non-curved would be too big for me too.

I'm using the Dell U2722D for work and home use. It's fine, got a decent colour spectrum and brightness. You can't go far wrong with a it IMO
