Good Evening Everyone,
I am after some help with what to put in my new shuttle 'office' system.
To give you a very brief background - I am about to move office at the end of this month and therefore am going to loose the computers that we are currently using as they belong to the current office we are at.
Therefore I am going to be buying two identical systems to replace the two we are loosing. The reason I want to go for a shuttle is because it saves space, is quiet and far easier to move around if we need to.
The final system needs to be:
- An office based computer - hence can run all the normal office programmes with ease and can bootup/shutdown nice and quickly
- Can handle the occasional DV Editing - Adobe Premiere Pro.....
- Will handle Adobe GoLive for updating websites
The system will not be used for gaming.
BUDGET - £400 est.
I would usually want a pentium chip as they are quieter but would still consider an AMD!
If you want to talk me out of getting a shuttle system then feel free as long as there is an alternative space saving solution. I also looked into the MAC Mini but want a PC based system. (yet we do editing on a G5 Quad and Mac Book Pro, I prefer PC for office work)
Thank you for anyone who offers any suggestions!
Chris
p.s I have looked at previous spec systems but no one has mentioned a similar budget, and most specs posted are for gaming systems!
