New Office Virus?

Had a bunch of calls from random unrelated customers all day saying they are having problems opening and saving office documents with MS Office hanging at random, this is too much of a coincidence. I have found no reports of a virus on all comps. Any ideas? A new virus perhaps?

That could be caused by multiple things, you'd have to be a bit more specific.

Yes, it could but background programs have been disabled, two antivirus packages have been tested and the problem seems to be spreading. Must be a new virus
