NEW/OLD BUILD

ok i built a rig outta old parts i had in the house, i bought a new sata HD and a dvd rom.

its working but the sound is cackaly, and theres a static sound comming from the mobo i think.

could this be a dodgey condeser on the mobo? and if so is the mobo goosed?

Check all your wires inside and outside of the case, make sure theyre properly in

checked everything and its still the same

I built a brand new system last week and had no sound, changed the sample rate to 48.1Khz and I had sound but it crackled badly, changed to 44.1Khz and the crackling stopped IIRC. My speakers are old

its comming from inside the case, beside the cpu if my hearing servers me right
