New Oled TV

I am in a need of a new Oled TV my LG OLED is started to show some burn had it about 9 years I readkon maybe more.

What is the go for tv these days want to be Oled I been looking at Sony and Samsung but LG has been good though

Funny enough that was the one I was looking at as the discount makes it a good buy would be the 55 inch.. Is it a good tv as I been reading reviews that Sony and Samsungs are better IQ now?

What's your budget and size requirements?

55 inch and happily go to £1800 but lower the better.

IIRC those LG's are the go too on here. Most people use the 42" as monitors and wall mount them. So you can really loose if you go for a bigger one, they're pretty much tried and tested.

Thank you so they must have very good quality then as I say I had LG for 9 or so years Oled but it just started to show some burns think cos daughter left screen on you tube menu by accident bless her.

Is that the max space you have or are you concerned that going higher might diminish quality?

In terms of value the sweet spot is 65" right now.

Wife wouldn't let me fit a 65 inch as she think it too big she think the 55 in the sweet spot

I wouldn’t get 42 either it be 55 at least but will try talk 65 into her but it awkward room size with seating positions

As his existing screen is an LG OLED from circa 2016, it'll probably be something like a B6/E6 which already has very thin bezels, a new 65" will be noticeably bigger

As said my tv is oled now very thin and thin bezel so a new 55 be the same size at least. 65 will deffo be noticeable

The Sony I love but the legs are at the end of the tv so won't fit on our tv cabinet the legs need to be a bit further in. I seen some TV where you can have them at end or a bit further in though it ws the sony

Pretty much, don’t get me wrong I think the LG G5, Samsung S95F or the Sony Bravia III are all excellent choices, if your a heavy gamer the LG and Samsung is an excellent choice, if you have a bright, light filed living room the S95F is an amazing choice because of the matte screen(i have the 77S95D) and the Sony is top of the tree for processing and cinematic effect.

Love the Sony but the stand won’t work for me as they at the edge

You could buy a VESA compatible stand if that's the TV you'd otherwise prefer
