Hi

I could do with some feedback on what I have done with overclocking as its something I have read in many forums but never had the balls to have a go but here I am.

Heres my set up:

Asus P5N-E SLI
Intel Dual Core 930 @ 3.77Ghz - 1.23volts - Idle @ ambient 35c/load 45c
Antec AK-961/Antec Formula 5 Thermal Compound
2Gb Samsung Memory 533Mhz 4-3-3-8 @ 670Mhz ( no Idea on voltage )
Nvidia 7900GS@ Stock
160GB Seagate Barracuda
Silver Mod Case, 1x80mm Side fan, 1x80mm BTX Style Fan 2x120mm Fans

Now I went onto Toms Hardware site and saw that the score for the CPU Benchmark was the same as a core2duo E6600.

I am about to leave the pc overnight running orthos to see how stable this is and shall get back to you in the morning but for the meantime is there anything i can do to bump this up a little bit more.

Your thoughts shall be appreaciated.

Well I ran Orthos and it fell over after 6 mins :(

I dropped the FSB back down to 960 which gave me 3.6GHZ and the memory at 640Mhz and ran Orthos again. I carried on nicely after 2 hours so with the setup I have at the moment and with it being a Dual Core I will stay with these settings and wait till I can afford a Core2 I suppose.

CPU 3.6Ghz
Memory 640Mhz
Idle Cpu Temp 35c
Load CPU Temp 45c
Mobo Temp 34c
